Mark Sharnick’s book reveals the importance of small congregations where it is obvious that the people who attend are there because they love God, not because it is the in thing to do on Sundays while the other six days they don’t give God a toss. Those are called Sunday Christians.
Thank you Mark Sharnick for a peek at what most people don’t think about. Your book is thought provoking to say the least. The truth is (as you say) the portal to God.

In reading the book it brings out from a biblical perspective what to expect and rely on rather than be molded into the large church world. It reminds Pastors to consider the goal which you approach your calling. It also challenges Deacons, and members of a church, whether small or large, to be encouraged and refocused on the goal that God has called each one of us to be. The book refreshed me in reading the examples from a biblical perspective. (Philippians 3:13-14)
